Flyer in the style of the late 80s / early 90s featuring a pink background spattered randomly with tiny purple squares and triangles. The text is a darker purple, uses the font “Gwenchana” by Syaf Rizal, and is separated by scribbled green lines. Green circles also highlight aspects of the text, which reads, “The Jesse Baggs 2026 Spring / Summer Mini-Tour. Sunday, May 21, 5:30-8:00PM: Art Auction Preview Party; Crocker Art Museum; 216 O St, Sacramento. Saturday, Aug 8, Time TBA: ‘You Are Here’ Art Show; Old Soul at Weatherstone; 812 21st St, Sacramento. Sunday, Sep 20, 10:00am-5:00pm: CrockerCon; Crocker Art Museum; 216 O St, Sacramento.”

In the spring a young man’s fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love, but I’m an old man with a heavy hand and art shows to promote! Let’s review, shall we?

I’m participating again in Crocker’s “Big Names, Small Art” auction and my oil pastel piece “The Geezer” will be for sale online starting at 9am on May 12th. You can also see it and other amazing work by local artists in person at the Crocker’s Preview Party on Thursday, May 21st from 5:30-8:00pm. It’s a fun show, with the art arranged on tables around which hundreds of people walk in circles with no discernable beginning or end, like some sort of human-only caucus race.

On the evening of Saturday, August 8th, I will be in a You Are Here art show at the Weatherstone location of Old Soul. I will share more details here as they develop!

And on Sunday, September 20th, I will be back at the Crocker Art Museum from 12-4pm for the twelfth annual CrockerCon! Having the event on Sunday allows for longer hours and more fun, so I hope to see you there!
