A silhouette of Sacramento’s Crocker Art Museum is struck by lightning. To the left of the lightning is CrockerTron’s face, partially made of the Victorian-style architecture that was used in the building’s original design; to the right of the lightning, CrockerTron strides forward while holding a flaming purple sword. At the top of the poster is the word, ‘CrockerCon.’

We’re about halfway through the summer, which is the time when a Sacramento comic book fan’s fancy turns to CROCKERCON! That’s right, CrockerCon will be back for another year, its tenth in fact, on Thursday, September 12th from about 6:00-9:00 pm (final times not yet determined) at the Crocker Art Museum! While I may not have as much convention experience as other artists and exhibitors, CrockerCon is by far my favorite because it feels like such a party! There’s amazing music, performances, food, costumes, and of course, the best in comic arts and related culture that the greater Sacramento area has to offer! Plus, this year’s poster is designed by the amazing Justin Greenwood! I’ll be posting plenty about Crockercon in the weeks to come, so stay tuned for the details you need to attend!
