As always, I had a blast at CrockerCon! Being in the Crocker’s ballroom felt balls classy, and while I didn’t have a chance to talk much with fellow exhibitors this year, that’s because I was busy talking to attendees. Lots of interesting conversations about pigments, Burning Man, children’s books, spirituality, mental health, Michael Gross, and making art! Thanks to the Crocker and Eben Burgoon for putting together such a consistently fun show and everyone who came out and said hello or made a purchase
Speaking of, my kids happened to be there when I sold a piece from one of my sketchbooks, which inspired them to make drawings to sell. My son in particular was disappointed that he couldn’t interest anyone in his $92 Mario drawing. If only he knew how long it took me to sell my first piece!
