Cartoon drawing of a red big rig driving down the highway at sunset. The cab is tightly filled by six people and a monkey, who is dressed in overalls like a toddler and sits on the lap of a man in the middle of the front seat. The other five human passengers look on with a mixture of confusion and amusement as the monkey pulls the man down for a kiss. On the front-grate of the big rig there is exaggerated text that reads, “Coffee Zombie Collective” along with a small skull.

I’ve been so busy lately that I didn’t have a chance to share the latest artwork I created for the ebullient Coffee Zombie Collective! We were talking about something with 70s-movie vibes, so I drew the band in a big rig with a monkey, as seen in the movies Every Which Way but Loose and Smokey and the Bandit. For fun, I added Cannonball Run to the title and put vocalist Nate in a Captain and Tennille-style hat. If you ever go see one of the band’s raucous live shows, tell ‘em Large Marge sent ya (she also drove a big rig)!
