It’s the last week of 2023 so it’s time for a year-end review with my Top Nine Instagram posts! Since you all are such a kind and supportive bunch, you always give my announcements and family posts the most likes (stahp it already and thanks!). So I took those out to see which of my art posts were most popular, and this year it was almost entirely my new digital pieces. Making the analog first drafts is still my favorite part of the process as that’s where the risk-taking and discovery take place, but turning them into digital paintings satisfies my desire to make everything just right.
