Her lips are pursed but she smiles and looks upward as a breeze stirs her hair. In the second drawing, a young black woman’s face is seen from slightly below, her mouth open in a wide smile. The third woman is middle-aged and white. She wears a plaid business coat and appears to be giving a public address. The last drawing depicts a young white woman’s face from slightly below. Her hair is pulled up in a bun but strands fall down around her face. Details of a chair and window can be seen in the background.
